There has been a steady decline in the number of supermarkets and grocery stores in the area and across the State of Arkansas. Many families in the area has limited access to affordable healthy foods and have to drive up to 25 miles to the nearest grocery store and have access to a mobile pantry every four months.
Our Mission is to directly serve local residents who suffer from hunger and food insecurity within Lafayette County by supplying free fresh produce, canned goods, and healthy frozen items. Our food pantry provide valuable meal supplementation while helping those in need maintain their independence and dignity. The food pantry is especially crucial in our area. If you are interested in accessing the food pantry, you must complete yearly registration with a current picture ID and a currently utility bill/rent receipt/mail with your name and address on it.

At Books From Bobby, we believe true community transformation begins with access—to knowledge, to resources, to opportunity. Through our core initiatives, we are building stronger families, empowered individuals, and resilient communties.
We began with a book—and we continue to build with literacy. Our programs encourage a lifelong love of reading and learning by providing books, tutoring, and literacy resources for children and adults. Whether it’s a read-aloud in a classroom or a book club for parents, we’re turning pages into possibilities.
We prepare our community for the careers of today—and tomorrow. From digital literacy to resume writing and job training workshops, we equip individuals with tools to thrive in a modern workforce. Our hands-on training and career mentorship unlock pathways to sustainable employment and personal growth.
Entrepreneurship changes communities. Through guidance, mentorship, and access to resources, we support new and existing small business owners in bringing their ideas to life. We host pitch nights, business bootcamps, and connect entrepreneurs with financial and legal resources to foster local economic development.
No one should go hungry. We collaborate with local farmers, food banks, and grocery partners to provide access to healthy, nutritious food. Through our community food pantry and farmer’s market initiatives, we’re not just feeding families—we’re fueling futures.
Home is more than a place—it’s a foundation. We walk alongside families in their journey toward homeownership with workshops, credit education, and partnerships with housing organizations. Our goal is to empower families with the knowledge and support they need to own a piece of their community.
Where learning meets creativity, mentorship, and fun!
